Module with same scope

Hello,

I just saw their is a module that does the same as the goal / scope of this module:

http://drupal.org/project/nodeaccess_userreference

I had made a custom module just suiting my needs (no user interface, no content type defining, ... just for a project I needed) and I'm trying the above mentioned module later today to see if the result is the same as my custom project_access module.
