jamesJonas commentedQuick addition: the $multiplier seems to be set to zero.
Walked back up the code:
The variable 'userpoints_ecommerce_spend' inside the variable table seems not to be updating to '1' after I insert the new value into the form. It is still show up as 'i:0;'.
Form: Points settings > Ecommerce Options > Points used in payment (for every dollar):

kbahey commentedCan you create a patch for the fix?
See here http://drupal.org/patch
Comment #3
jamesJonas commentedI'm still digging. I change the variable directly via sql and everything worked. But that is a hack and not a solution. I also noticed that the form() on the 'ecommerce options' page for user points is displaying a '0' for the default, where the default value in the form code is '1'.
Is it just me or has anyone else seeing this behavior?

jaime_pomales commentedI'm having this problem as well. What is the specific string that you placed in the variables table to "fix" the problem. I'm using postgresql and there are quite a few niggles between this module and postgresql. I'm still trying to figure out where the form goes wrong and why even when I think I'm setting that variable correctly (manually) no points are deducted on checkout.

dontadow commentedI"m having the same problem. Everything seems to be configured correctly. Using the 3.3 version of commerce and latest userpoints.
jaime_pomales commentedOkay, well I think I've found out what's going on with this particular issue. Deactivate the userpoints_reserve module. The exchange rate calculation behind the scenes always comes out to be zero if you don't set a reserve and the form will always reset to zero if you have no reserve. Since I'm not using a set number of points, I deactivated that particular module and was able to enter a 1 point to 1 dollar deduction, and now checkout works fine.

berdirSorry for pinging the participants.
Now that Drupal 7 is out, there is no support for Drupal 5 and the
corresponding modules anymore. Therefore, I'm closing all old issues
which are still open.
I suggest you upgrade to Drupal 6 or 7 and figure out if you're feature
is still needed or the bug still exists and open a new issue in that
case.
