Hi all,

I have a problem with the "Upload" module. When I choose and tick this module in the modules section, everytime I make even a small change in the settings section and click "Save configuration" it'll return nothing but a blank screen. Then I have to go back one step, if I want to continue working in Drupal. Does anybody know how to solve this issue?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I am getting an internal server error when I try to submit the page 'admin/settings/upload'. Not a problem on my local machine installation.
Have had a similar problem with the phrase 'rpm' in text fields before (maybe an ISP linux security thing?) but cannot find any 'rpm' phrase in the source or text fields.
Other upload settings that use the 'variable' table seem to be fine. Assigning node type 'allow attachments' permissions works fine (can see variable assignments in db), and the setting->upload page responds correctly to user role permissions (shows fields for each role type), but on submit it gives error every time.

Sorry - my installation is v4.6, not cvs...

How bizarre is this - if I remove the 'txt' file extension from the 'Permitted file extensions' field, everything is fine. As soon as I try to put in 'txt' (or 'rpm' - see above), I get 'Internal Server Error'.

I can hack the variable table manually to resolve this for my own case, but it seems a bit extreme for my ISP to disallow 'txt' as a security issue? However, I have checked, and if the three-letter combo 'txt' appears anywhere in a text field, I get 'Internal Server Error'. Will chase this with my ISP - does anyone know what feature might cause this problem? If I get a resolution, should I add it to the Requirements/Installation/Troubleshooting docs?
