I've tried Aristo theme with no luck. No styling is applied. Default theme works perfectly.
See attached screenshot.

realityloop commentedCheck the structure of your theme files, from memory I had to move some files around which is an error in the theme archives.

mattsmith3 commentedI've got the same issue, but with both themes. Both look like spongecat's screenshot.
Tried both 7 and 7 dev- neither worked.
Looks like I'm using version 8 of the library... the download from the link you've provided in the README.txt

mattsmith3 commentedWhat do you mean here? I've got images in sites/libraries/uniform/images and css is sites/libraries/uniform/css

mattsmith3 commentedThe git repo is pulling down v8 of the plugin. That's part of the issue. Your module only seems to work with v 7.5. Also, the theme Aristo just does not seem to work, but Agent from the Uniform site does.

realityloop commentedYour correct, Uniform 1.7.5 is the version you should be using:

Even the readme at the git repo says "Version 1.8 (not yet released)".
