It would be good to have "apply to join roster" on the first page of the "team" page.

A user would then be able to navigate to their team and simply "apply" rather than having to navigate to the roster, etc....

Well ... I said it would be last night, but lost my main hard drive yesterday ... will be a few days before I can roll any more patches.

If you're interested, you should be able to change the ult/team/%nid/roster/applytojoin menu item to ult/team/%nid/applytojoin to move the menu.
