Hi,

Sounds great - but what does it provide? Can you use it to override the checkout page and the cart page? Or is it more for entering product info into a Panel?

thats' exactly what I want to know! I want to embed ubercart checkout in a panel and can't seem to find oout how to do it anywhere.

It adds UC fields from the product node as ctools content types so they can be plugged into panels if you're using panelized nodes. The site this was done for is aavidthermalloy.com - you'll see the add to cart form on the product pages.
