I have no plans to do this on short notice, but as far as I know the current version should work just fine for at least some time into next year.

A version for the new iDEAL API nor for Drupal 7.x is currently planned for this module.

You can take a look at iDEAL 7.x-3.x and see if it fits your needs.

How is the code (esp. the Connector part) licensed? It needs to be licensed GPL version 2 or later: https://drupal.org/licensing/faq/#q7

Thanks for pointing that out, I wasn't aware of that.

I can't find anything yet about any licence for the connector part or who has written it.
I only know where I got it from.

Can you delete my attachement (I am unable to do so) as I shall inquire about the licence?

Unfortunately I can't delete your comment nor attachment either. Please do enquire about the licence.

I have received written permission to use the connector as long as we do not mention the author/owner and do not leave any references to them.

Is this also acceptable by the drupal licence?

What is here to review?

@Xano #3
I believe it is very inappropiate to promote private commercial modules here.

@rbosscher: we need to licence it GPL2 or GPL3, I don't really care about having to name it or not. If you can provide the code under the GPL I'm willing to upload it to a new 3.x branch.

Ok, I run through the code and deleted all references.
It would be nice to have it double checked
GPL licence is just in the module root so, that should be sufficient, right?

The module is available here:

Great, I will have a look at it.

Mollie.nl provides an iDEAL Professional which will keep working even after the SEPA migration, so that might be a good migration option -- especially with lower transaction volumes, since Mollie have no fixed monthly costs. I've added support for them in the 6.x-2.6 version of the module.

In comment #13 there is a module that says to work with ideal v3, but the new release of #15 only comments on adding mollie to the official branch of 2.6 version. What to use better? The module in #13 or the offical branch module?

If you have mollie as your payment provider, then I suggest using the official branch.
If you have a merchant contract with your bank and want to keep it that way you can switch to the unofficial branch.
