First all all thanks for this module.
Could someone please advice if there is an easy way to use it without installing the uc addresses module?
thanks

Nope, Extra Fields Pane 7.x-1.x requires Ubercart Addresses. You can however disable some of the functionalities of Ubercart Addresses by changing it settings and/or permissions. For example: if you don't want users to use the address book on their profile, uncheck the following permissions:

  • view own addresses
  • add/edit own addresses
  • delete own addresses

For background information about why this module requires Ubercart Addresses, see #1222342: Extra Fields Pane: Drupal 7 port.
