Hi, yesterday i installed this module into a new Drupal website and something is not working properly, because in other websites that i had installed the Extra Fields, it always worked, but for some reason this time the story is a little different, so... (for example) i created a new field in admin/store/settings/countries/fields and when i added a new address (user/XX/addresses/add) or when i advance to checkout/revision, the info filled by user is not stored and always shows up "Not Available" . This happen with all the new fields that i try create... any idea ? Tks

The value "Not available" will be displayed if there is no saved value for the field.

This can show up if:

  • You submitted an address form where the field in question is not displayed.
  • You looked at saved addresses that were already there before the field was created.
  • You removed a field and then re-added it.
  • You installed a module that interferes with the address save process.
  • You installed a module that interferes with the field value save process.
  • You typed in "Not available" literally in a field.

Does the "Not available" only show up in the address book or also on:

  • The checkout review page? (cart/checkout/review)
  • The order page? (admin/store/orders/XX)

The problems continue... so answering to your questions:

The "Not available" shows up in all the pages... checkout, review and address books. When i submit in the form, he sends by $_POST all the fields, but does not save the new created fields ("ucxf_"). Only saves in $_SESSION the fields that came by default with the module.

I have tried uninstalling and installing the module again and in development version too, but the problem keeps. If is a module that interferes with this, how will I discover...

OK, strangely the problem is solved.
In an act of desperation i uninstalled everything again and install back the dev versions. The only change was that i also installed the dev module of Ubercart Addresses, so i think the problem was related with the Ubercart Addresses and not with the Extra Field Panes (or both i dont know). Or maybe this new version 3.6 of Ubercart is not compatible with the stables releases.

There isn't much new in the dev releases that I can think of that would solve possible incompatibilities with Ubercart 7.x-3.6. But great to hear your problem is solved!
