It is not possible to attach more than one file to node. Dynamic loading of files does not work (Drupal 6.4).

Hmm... indeed.
The problem appears only when the tribune block is displayed, so I suppose there must be some incompatibility between its javascript and the upload module's javascript.
I'll see what I can do, in the meanwhile you can just blacklist the tribune block for the "node/add" path.
