I am hosting Drupal based site on the cloud environment of hostgator.
The php version in the environment was recently updated from version 5.6 to 7.4. After the update i started getting the error message
Warning: "continue" targeting switch is equivalent to "break". Did you mean to use "continue 2"? in include_once() (line 1387 of /home/public_html/includes/bootstrap.inc).
Along with this all token values which were displayed got replaced with token name.
my question is, if Tokens module complatible with php version 7.4 along with other token modules, I am using other Token modules as
1) Field default token
2) Menu Token
3) Token Filter
4) Entity tokens
Incase token module is not compatible with php 7.4, is there any roadmap for same.
What should i do in the current situation?
PS : I would be able to help in supporting testing since I don;t have much knowledge in the development.
Problem/Motivation
Upgradation of php version from 5.6 to 7.4
Steps to reproduce
on the hostgator cloud enviornment php was upgraded from 5.6 to 7.4, after clearing the cache, I started experiencing the problem
Proposed resolution
1) Need to confirm if Module is compatible with version 7.4
If yes, need help where i am having problem
If no, need support in making it compatible.
PS : I will be able to help in testing
Kindly help.

neeraj420 commentedI have to run the /update.php, to get all token working again.

vm commentedupdate.php should be run after every update whether modules or core.

gintass commentedIn my case running /update.php didn't help, but 'drush updb' command solved the problem. I though it should be the same, but apparently it is not. Also this shows that we have to update drupal database, not only after the drupal module or core code is updated, but also after the php version update.
