Hello there,

i have installed tinytiny mce with drupal 6.2 in the sites\alle\module map.
After that i copy pasted the 3.0.8 tiny mce editor in the tinytinymce map listed above.

Result is that the editor works but giving users the right to a advanced or simple editor doesn't make any difference.
The simple editor seems to have the same functions as the simple editor.

What did i miss?

Hi there - the simple editor should have a single toolbar with about 6 icons on it (bold, italic, etc). The advanced has 4 toolbars with almost the full set of TinyMCE icons. Which of these are you seeing?

Since the editor is working, it sounds as though you've installed everything in the right place.

If you are logged on as user 1 (admin) you have rights to everything so you will always see the advanced controls. For simple mode to work you need to log on as a different user who only has access right to the simple mode.

I don't know if that is any help. It would certainly be useful for me to know which mode your users are seeing (simple or advanced).
