Greetings Merlin,
I am back on drupal again which is nice.
I am running the following modules

  • Ctools
  • Panels
  • Panels everywhere
  • Tinsel
  • Advanced forums
  • Advanced profile kit
  • Author pane
  • CCK
  • Views

I have found an issue with tensil which there isnt a way to turn off the site name(that i have found anyway). I had to delete the rendering part code-side.

I will be reporting much more for all the dev's to help out where I can.

Thanks,
Draven

I forgo to add .... Is there a way to turn off the quick edit buttons for the blocks?
They seem to be on every system block.

Thanks,
Draven

Can the site name be turned off with Garland? Hm. I can't remember, will have to look.

The quick edit links are put in by Panels. I don't think they are currently removable.

There is an option in the theme config in the admin to turn off the site name, but that also is used for other things if I remeber correctly.

I would love the option to turn of the quick edit buttons. **Feature request**

I can start a new issue for that feature request if you would like.

Thanks,
Draven

Tinsel is meant to be have as exactly like Garland as possible. So if it works that way with Garland, then it is not a bug in Tinsel.

The hover links only show up if you have permission to edit the panel, so most people won't see them. Are they really that distracting?

It helps if at some points i can see a certain page I am working on exactly like my members. so an option would be the best i think, and it would be helpful at certain times.

Thanks,
Draven

Your best bet for that is to use something like masquerade module.

Yeah, that module seems like it should work. Was just hoping for the option on the quick edit buttons because i NEVER use them anyhow lol.

Thanks again for all your hard work.
