I updated Thickbox 5.x-1.2 to 2.1 on my Drupal 5.18, and Image Gallery no longer kicks Thickbox in when I click on thumbnail. It just jumps to the image node as if Thickbox is disabled. All the other images in nodes still works with Thickbox just fine.
Any idea?
ImageCache 5.x-2.4 and ImageAPI 5.x-1.5

frjo commentedIs it the Image module you are using? What version?
* Check the Thickbox settings (admin/settings/thickbox) so image module support is activated.
* Test with another theme.
* Try to disable any other JavaScript modules to see if there are any conflicts.
I have never used the image module myself and support for it in Thickbox module has been contribute by others.

madflute commentedThank you for your response.
Yes, the Image Module 5.x-2.0-alpha3 was installed by Drupal 5.18 since I didn't install it. It was working fine before Thickbox 5.x-2.1, and Image Gallery support is engaged. I even tried disengage > update.php/rebuild permission > re-engage the option but to no avail.
I am using Garland. I just tried Zen but to no avail.
The only other javascript module I can think of is jQuery Media 5.x-1.3. I disabled JQ all together but to no avail.
If I need to dump Image Gallery, I probably need to crate new content type for image and redo all the images because I won't have access to the field of the current image content type to assign thickbox, correct?

madflute commentedI just reinstalled Image 5.x-1.9 to see if anything is better. Bingo. Thickbox for Image Gallery works. The problem is my nodes are all red, filled with error messages along with missing images. One of the image gallery lost entire content. I can't put 5.x-1.9 on my live site unless I found the fix for this errors, but I think it is safe to say Image 5.x-2.0-alpha3 is the cause of my issue.
The Image Module errors points to unlink(), imagecreatetruecolor(), imagejpg(), and imagedestroy(). They are in the file.inc and image.inc. I assume this was caused by rolling back the version from 2 to 1.

frjo commentedLesson to next time, don't use alpha version on a production site :-).
The image module is not part of Drupal so you must have installed it separately.
My guess is that the image module support in Thickbox needs to be upgraded for Image module version 2.x. If someone provides a patch I will commit it .
