I am trying to upgrade from 6x-1.3 to 1.4. I removed the 1.3 from the sites/all/modules folder. When I go to the modules page it still thinks it is there. Even if I add the 1.4 folder, it does not recognize it? What do I need to do?

It sounds like you have Thickbox installed in some other place as well.

Have a look in modules, sites/default/modules, sites/your.site/modules etc.

I ran a search and found a thickbox folder in the mimedetect folder. Removed it and it now works fine. Thanks.
