Only in some cases an error like this will be triggered:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecache_presets() in /.../modules/thickbox/thickbox.module on line 176

And once it gets into this state your whole site is dead. The only workaround I know of is to downgrade to thickbox 1.2

Just realized that I was using ImageCache 1.5, does Thickbox 2 require the newer ImageCache 2?

Can you please add this information to the README.txt and maybe to the project description?

This is crucial since it will break your site. The release notes are a really obscure place for someone who downloads the module for the very first time.
