Enabling image title links with Thickbox

I've got Thickbox successfully set up for my image gallery. Thickbox loads when a user clicks an image. Is there a simple way to have Thickbox load when a user clicks on the image title? In other words, enable the image title links with thickbox as well? The default behavior seems to load the image node directly when a user clicks on an image title.
