I used the wrong category.
There are improvements that can be done to the project, like to dynamically hide some options that cannot be changed, or to put two fieldsets which are placed side by side into a collapsible fieldset (those fieldsets should be present in the settings page that doesn't refer to a specific theme).

I used it in my web site, and I changed the copy of the module I was using; now I am using Drupal 6, and I deleted the module with the changes I made which are now lost.

If you think that can be of interest for you, I can try to find out how I changed the module. I am pretty sure that I listed all the changes I made in the first lines of this comment.
