Backdrop CMS support?

Hi Mark, Thanks so much for this little module. I've got a handful of Drupal 6 sites that all used the teaser break / summary, and can't get the same behavior on Drupal 7 without it, so much appreciated :)

I am moving a handful of these Drupal 6 sites to Backdrop CMS. I would like to start porting this module for use there too, and since you are the author/maintainer here for Drupal, you should have that same option for Backdrop CMS as well. Would you be open to collaborating on a Backdrop version? (I of course understand if you are not interested or don't have the time.)
