amitaibuUpdate: ER is working, and allows create/ update.
amitaibuHere's the WIP patch.
amitaibuIt's actually working - so needs review :)
lahode commentedHi Amitaibu,
I did this a long time ago already but this !"ç/)("çü! community never took time to have a look on my modules
I was naively trying to give freely all my work to the world but since no one don't care and haven't took time to validate my projects, now I just keep everything to myself. So sad...
In any case, here is the link of my sandbox: https://drupal.org/sandbox/lahode/1325398
And in attached, you'll find a zip of my latest release. It's working with OG 2.x, Entity reference and of course term reference. (presently I'm trying to extend this to select forms)
Hope it might help you
Cheers

Up to you, but I can't say I agree. And yes, sometimes the community doesn't review sandbox projects. Patches sometimes get more response. Anyway, stick around, it's nicer than being alone :)
Anyway, the patch adds ER integration to the module, so not sure there is a need for another module.

lahode commentedThanks Amitaibu,
Don't worry, I'll continue sticking around for a while and helping people in the community, but I think I just abandon the idea to publish modules.
I looked at your patch, nice, but it only deals with "Taxonomy" Entity References, what about "Node" Entity References or OG audiences groups? (That's why I wrote a new module, so that it can be extensible through an API to any kind of entity hierarchy structures).

jedsaet commentedConfirming that patch works with latest dev. For others who might be applying this patch and the one in #1514794: i18n compatibility, this patch needs to be applied first.
jennypanighetti commentedThis patch does not work for me. I get the following notice:
Notice: Array to string conversion in DrupalDefaultEntityController->cacheGet() (line 364 of /www/site/includes/entity.inc).I don't know if this notice is a different issue, but my taxonomy ref is an entity ref, I applied the patch on the latest dev, and it still doesn't work.
jennypanighetti commentedThe sandboxed module posted by lahode is very good and works great for what I need.
Amitaibu: the module still crashes/gives errors when I try to use it with entity references. When might you be able to look at it?
jennypanighetti commentedNevermind my comments in #9 and #10 -this seems to be a core issue that will be fixed when I upgrade to 7.28.

skylord commentedNice patch, works OK!
Kiwa commentedTested with the latest dev version and works like a charm. Thanks a lot Amitaibu!
jedsaet commentedStill relevant for me, so re-rolled to latest dev.
jedsaet commentedSorry, there was a warning on the last patch. Fixed in this one.

vladimirausThank you everyone for your contribution.
Drupal 7 is no longer supported but we always need support for Drupal 11 version.
