tabbed block not displaying views blocks anymore

Hi, I've been using the tabbed block module for a while until recently I've come across a strange problem. On my site I have a tabbed block I that placed on the right sidebar region which has 3 tabs of views blocks. Nothing special with the views, just plain filters with no arguments and such. The tabbed block is also configured to be always shown throughout the site. Everything worked well until recently though..

The problem came up when I placed a custom block that simply displays a list of links on the right sidebar. I didn't want the custom block to show on the admin pages so I excluded it from admin/*. Strangely enough now the tabbed block would only get displayed only on the front page and nowhere else (won't show on the node pages). On the node pages the tabbed block display 'Error! Click here!' instead of the views block (even though I've already set each views' block title and empty text). Resetting the custom block's visibility also didn't revert the situation back. The problem affected all tabbed blocks (I have 3) on my site from displaying on pages other than the front page.

I am hoping that the developer can look into this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
