It would be great if feeds were available for each node type and flexinode content types, e.g. /syndication/records/feed

node_type_filter.module in contrib will do this for taxonomy feeds and the home page feed. you just have to contruct the right url, as per the readme.

you are right, sort of, but I wouldn't call this fixed. I can't get the other module to work with nice url's, and feeds per node type sounds like a nice feature for a syndication module.

I don't dare updating the status, but please reconsider.

Yes, it would be a great addition. Right now, I force a content type to have a feed by "tagging" the content type with a unique taxonomy term.
