I get none of the players appearing at all...
I'm attempting what should be the most simple thing. Using FileField to upload an mp3 file and play it through an mp3 player.
I've created a new content type with a FileField set to mp3. The FileField has a display format of 'SWF Tools - no download link'... I can see that the file has been uploaded when I edit the node, although it doesn't appear in a player, but there's absolutely nothing showing when I view the node.
Both SWF Tools and FileField appear to be enabled properly and I've tried just about every setting I can.
Can anyone help?... I've already wasted 6 hours on this last night and I've no hair left to tear out!!
I've attached a couple of screen shots - the display fields, node edit and node view.
Thanks for any help
Jimmy

vm commenteddid you set up a player in administer -> swftools
the player that you installed is showing properly in administer -> reports -> swftools ?
jimbrowski commentedYep the players were all showing ok... however, your suggestion led me to notice that according to the swf tools status, the .js file for swfobject 1.5 was missing...
Even though I was setup to use swfobject 2, whose .js file was present, the embed settings weren't being saved due to the missing .js file for version 1.5 that I wasn't trying to use.
I've now downloaded the missing .js file that I wasn't trying to use and the one I was trying to use now works perfectly ;)
All a bit back to front, but I'm just over the moon that it works!!
Thanks for your help!!

Stuart Greenfield commentedComment #2 reports this issue as fixed.
swfobject 1.5 is deprecated, and the new admin page will allow the embedding setting to be saved even if the file is missing locally as it can now use the Google hosted library.
Assuming this issue is resolved.
