Hi!

Could yuo tell me please, if really I need whole this big module if I want only embed flash in block on my site (render by drupal)?

The only thing I need is to add swf into block, render it by drupal function, and let it to cache.
I looked at about 5 swf-something modules, but I am completly don't understand which module is best to use.

I am not a newbie, I use drupal from 4.6., but till now I never insert flash content by drupal.

I really appreciate your answer and explanation.
Thanks
Igor

Not sure if this will help but it might get you started.

It only requires one module and a bit of PHP code. But the same idea presented in the faq could be used for your block. The how-to is for drupal 6.x but I think the concept could be applied to 4.x

No, you don't need to use this module. You could write the code directly, or you could try a different media embedding module.

SWF Tool is designed to make it easy for the end user by supporting audio and video, and by writing the flash embedding code for you without a lot of effort. If the module is too big for your purposes then take a look round drupal.org to see how other users are doing things!

This is the great (but sometimes the worst!) thing about Drupal - there are lots of ways to achieve most things!
