1pixelout player size

I have set a width and height for the 1pixelout player via admin/settings/swftools/onepixelout, but it does not appear to be actually affecting anything?

When I go to a node that is using 1pixelout for output and view source, I can see that it has changed the player's <object> according to the width/height parameters I set on the swftools settings page. But it appears to only resize the object and create margin around the player? It doesn't change the actual players size?

Is this by design?
