For 7.x-2.0, you can use https://github.com/mehrpadin/Superfish-for-Drupal/archive/1.x.zip for your purpose.

This would serve your purpose.

I've used this Superfish library and the status report in Drupal still returns an error that it is not the correct version.

If it is correct, is there a way to disable this warning?
