Change text color of parent when child menu is active

So: I have a superfish menu enabled, and it works perfectly, but because of the color scheme of my site, there's a problem with the coloring.
When a child is selected, the background color of the menu item block itself changes, like if selected, but the text has the same color as if not selected.

I have found the code with the coloring, but my knowledge of css is not good enough to find what exactly I have to change or add?
Something like .sf-menu.sf-style-default .sf-depth-1 > li li li:active > a ?
