The animation speed setting has no effect.
If i take a look at the DOM, i see Drupal.settings.superfish[1].sf.speed ="'fast'".

it comes from:
$sfoptions['speed'] = ((is_numeric($speed)) ? (int)$speed : (($speed == ('slow' || 'normal' || 'fast')) ? '\'' . $speed . '\'': ''));
line 801 superfish.module.

what is the purpose of the single quotation marks?

if i remove them, the speed setting works as designed.

Hey there,

Sorry for the late reply, as far as I recall (or maybe I'm totally wrong) I had to add those single quotes in order to correctly pass the strings through the Drupal behaviours to SF plugin, maybe (or again, maybe not) they've "fixed" it, modified something in the core in some ways that makes them unnecessary, not sure! added to my to-do to remove them, thank you so much :) please note you can use milliseconds too.
