Hi all,

In readme:

The subscriptions module allows users to subscribe to nodes, node types, blogs,
and taxonomies. A subscribed user will be e-mailed whenever a comment is
updated or added to a node. When this module is enabled, all nodes will
display a new link, "(un)subscribe", which enable users to subscribe or
unsubscribe to the node in question. A new menu option, "my subscriptions",
allows the user to view all current subscriptions and make modifications.

If I understand correctly, after my subscribtion to node, node type or taxonomies, I will start recive email notyfications about new comments on this nodes. It's right?

Ok, I start testing:

1. I click on link "subscribe" in the bottom of node. After new comment posted, I recive email notyfication successfully. Ok.
2. In "my account" -> "my subscriptions" -> "categories" I select some categories. I want to recive email notyfication about all new comments to nodes in this categories. Right? After new comment posted to node (in subscribed catogories), I don't recive any notifycations. It's not ok.
3. In "my account" -> "my subscriptions" -> "content types" I select some content types and press "Save" button. I see message "Your subscription was activated." but no one type is selected. It's not Ok.
4. In "my account" -> "my subscriptions" -> "rss feed" I want read information about new comments, but this feed translate only node teaser and title of subscribed nodes, without any comment information. It's not Ok.

Can somebody explain me, what I do wrong? Maybe, I don't correctly understand readme file? Thanks.

I don't think subscriptions.module handles comments in categories. I will only warn you about new nodes in a category, and updates of nodes in a category; to receive notifications about new comments in a node, you have to subscribe to that individual node.

Hmm... and then again, I'm receiveing notifications of new comments in the categories, just like you wanted to.

Have you tried downloading the module again? Maybe this was included in a recent patch; I am pretty sure that e-mail notifications for comments weren't working before! :)

Sorry, it's my mistake - I miss some things and now I receive email notification also when category update. But, after new node added, I don't receive update for rss feed. And if I add new comment to this new node, rss feed show me new node. Is it correct?

I still can't subscribe to any content type. Can You help me?

The RSS feed is just a hook I call - I don't have much to do with how it's built. I suspect it's rebuilt with Cron or something, so that it will eventually reflect the latest content, but not necessarily immediately.
