Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to set 1 content type to a permanent interval that could not be changed by the user. I already have made the specific content type unavailable for deselection by a logged in user. (It is not visible for them anymore)
Our website contains messages of a content type that must be send as fast as possible (within the cronjob of an hour) to a select group of users that must be notified of known bugs in our products.
We don't care about subscription changes that the user makes to other content types but they are not allowed to change the subscription nor interval of that specific content type. I think general subscription interval setting for all content types also affects the interval for this specific content type?

salvisWhat you call "general subscription interval setting" applies only to subscriptions that are created by the user after it has been set.
If you create that subscription (presumably through some means other than the Subscriptions UI) and you've hidden that subscriptions from the user's view, then he has no way of changing it.
The "general subscription interval setting" is only a default value that determines the default value that comes up when a new subscription is created.

Thank you for your reply. I now have hidden the content type so our users can not change it. As administrator I have set the subscription on this content type for them and set the interval on 1 hour.
This should work work for us.
