Has anyone found a way to get the messages from the subscription module to appear to a user on the site (ie on a node, or even better as a block.)

The notifications module allows them to be displayed under a tab under the user account options. I was wondering if there was anyway to achieve this on the subscriptions module or if the only way the subscription updates can be sent is via email.

Please note, it is the actual subscription updates (ie messages saying that a content has been created/updated) I am looking to display on the site, not the subscription control options which I am aware there is already a tab for.

No, there's no such feature implemented or planned.

You can open a feature request, but the chances are small, unless you want to do it. (In that case let's discuss the details first, before you start coding.)

Opening this as a feature request. However I don't have the coding power to do this myself. But in case anyone else out there comes across it...
