Dear Subscriptions Maintainers,

First of all thank you for developing such a great module. I've currently encountered one issue and I need some help. After I've setup the default settings for Subscriptions module (admin/configuration/subscriptions/user defaults) such as "On updates" is checked whereas "On comments" is unchecked in the Preferences section. Then I create another user that has inherit these default settings, as expected, that particular user will be able to receive e-mail notification once there's any updates on an Article and he will not be receiving any e-mail if there's a comment posted in any of those articles which is expected. However, if i use this particular user to alter the subscription settings (My account/Subscriptions), it just won't overwrite the default value. For example, even if i've unchecked "On updates", that user is still receiving e-mail notification if there's any updates on article. Please help me sir. Thanks in advance.

What you're experimenting with are site and user default settings that are used for newly created subscriptions.

As it says on the user page:

Any changes you make here will only apply to newly created subscriptions.

BTW, I'd recommend updating to the -dev version.

Please read Priority levels of issues for the definition of "Critical".

Owh sorry it's my bad. Hmm I am actually using this module on a live production site, so if that's the case, should I upgrade to the dev version? Thank you in advance sir

Yes, I'd recommend updating to the -dev version.

I'm holding off making a release version because there are some things that I'd like to get in, but what's there is solid.
