Option to automatically subscribe users to posts they create

When a user submits a node it should be possible to automatically subscribe them. Right now we're using this:

        subscriptions_write_subscription('node', 'nid', $node->nid, -$node->uid, $node->uid, 1, 1, 1);
      }

  }
}

It'd be nice if there was just a checkbox to do this, possibly a per-user setting too.
