would be nice to be notified if the node itself is updated.. not just comments posted
or perhaps there is another module for this - seems like it would fit under this module though
and see my next feature request as well

hsfdrupal commentedI second this - my intranet site uses versioning and it would be nice to be notified when something is updated!
mindless commentedcan someone check if this works in the current subscriptions for drupal 5.x?
esadot commentedDoesn't seem to work in 5.
Would love to see the feature as well. Anyone knows where is stands?
scor commentedDoesn't work on 5.x-1.9 either.
It's a must for subscriptions, and as far as I know it would be the first module to do this type of thing.
geodaniel commentedSounds like greggles isn't too far from a patch for this over on http://drupal.org/node/132983 - setting this one as a dup
Comment #6
rseiser commentedgreggles' effort mentioned under #5 seems to PROVIDE A CHOICE for the user if he wants to receive notifications on "create" or "update" (or both). This would certainly be a great NEW feature.
But for the CURRENT CODE, I want to point to the line that prevents notifications being sent out when a "node is updated". http://drupal.org/node/144184
This fixed it for me, and now it sends out notifications if either the node is "created" or "updated".
