After installing the subscription module, I receive the following error message:
user warning: Unknown column 'suspended' in 'field list' query: SELECT suspended FROM subscriptions_user WHERE uid = 8 in .../sites/all/modules/subscriptions/subscriptions.module on line 622.

salvisDisable and uninstall Subscriptions. Then reinstall.
Does this help?

balabushka commentedGot the same problem - will uninstall delete the user subscriptions? then this is not a solution.
What does this warning say? Will the subscriptions be sent anyway or is it broken?
Herer the full message:
Unknown column 'suspended' in 'field list' query: INSERT INTO subscriptions_queue (uid, name, language, module, field, value, author_uid, send_interval, digest, last_sent, load_function, load_args, is_new, suspended) SELECT u.uid, u.name, u.language, s.module, s.field, s.value, s.author_uid, s.send_interval, su.digest, COALESCE(sls.last_sent, 0), 'subscriptions_content_node_load', '993', '1', suspended FROM subscriptions s INNER JOIN subscriptions_user su ON s.recipient_uid = su.uid INNER JOIN users u ON su.uid = u.uid LEFT JOIN subscriptions_last_sent sls ON su.uid = sls.uid AND s.send_interval = sls.send_interval WHERE s.module = 'node' AND s.field = 'nid' AND s.author_uid IN (1, -1) AND s.value = '993' in /home/17716/html_apis.de/sites/all/modules/subscriptions/subscriptions.module in Zeile 332.

salvisYes, uninstalling deletes all data. The original poster wrote that it was a new installation, but I suspect he may have some old stuff laying around.
If you have an existing installation, then you should have run update.php after updating Subscriptions (as with any module update). Update 6103 adds the 'suspended' columns. Did you do that?
I'm not sure, but I think nothing is sent until this is fixed.

balabushka commentedIndeed, update.php was the solution - sorry for the inconvenience.

salvisNo follow-up from dxp — assuming this is fixed.
dxp commentedUpdate.php solved the problem. Thanks for assistance.
