Hopefully without irritating and wasting too much of your time, I was just wondering if I could ask a basic question about this module. Will this module make it so that i can change the storage path on my different content types to go to my rackspace cloud files container? I'm sorry to ask such a dumb question, but I'm trying to see if this module is what I'm looking for without installing it and messing up a bunch of stuff.

I'm not entirely certain what you're intending to ask, but I'll take a shot at giving some clarifying info. Right now, unless you're writing your own code to use this API, you'll only get integration with the BD Video module. In other words, the only thing being pushed to your cloud files container are BD Video files (and perhaps also their thumbnail images). I leave it to you to close this issue if that answers your question.
