Filtering on "spam" still shows every comment. There has to be an easier way to appreciate IP addresses of spammers. I also capture the log to syslog and I have yet to find a reliable string to grep.

Or, have you tried visiting Administer >> Content management >> Spam? Is that what you're looking for?
If not, what exactly are you looking for?

eyecon-1 commentedMy apologies. That was a VERY poorly worded issue on my part. More frustration than information.
This module does a great job of whacking content spam!
This is a self-induced problem trying to manage things from syslog (with a swatch daemon to netfilter) rather than DB logs. I'll close this issue.
