Most actions performed by spam.module add duplicate or triplicate items to the Admin > Spam > Logs page, e.g.

- trackback manually marked as spam
- spam_unpublish_trackback: unpublished trackback "Kylie Minog"

I'm using the "Log major events" setting. These entries should be consolidate to a single item, such as 'Trackback unpublished and manually marked as spam: "..."'.

The same thing also happens in the watchdog logs, where you get "Spam: unpublished trackback..." and "Spam: marked trackback as spam...".

I don't intend to remove log entires, but I certainly could adjust the various levels so it's not quite so verbose when logging only major events. I plan to rework the logging stuff a little when porting the spam module to 4.7.

Very old issue. Closing. Logging will also be improved in the upcoming 5.x-2.x release.
