when I try to turn on spam filter for any other content type the choice is not saved.. it says "The configuration options have been saved.", but the new content type that I chose is still not checked off

i have tried to re-install the module, but to no avail.. still the same issue

i should add that by default it is turned on for comments... I can also not disable it for comments
