The spam administration offers textfields for the "Spam filter message".

After edit + save configuration the old (default) content remains,
i.e. the message cannot be changed.

Have the same issue. I fix it and uploading the patch.

One question for the developers, why using a _submit() hook for the settings form when, in general, that's done automatically by the system_settings_form($form) function.

Looking for that answer i did notice a few lines of logic in there othen than just saving variable information, but I would advice to take that out on a different approach so changes to the actual settings form doesn't need an update on the _submit() hook of that form. The less code needed to edit the better :)

Anyway, just trying out the module and uploading this fix.

Thanks,
a.=
