We spent a lot of time today on IRC discussing Skinr styles and Advanced Forum styles. Since AF 2.x now uses CTools to do the heavy lifting of gathering styles and since Skinr already has CTools integration for Panels styles, it seems like making an AF style out of Skinr could be doable. Even after all this, I'm pretty fuzzy on the details and I don't have much more energy to put in this right now, but we wanted to at least get the idea out there.

I'm willing to add the classes Skinr needs to AF's styles but I need someone to give me more details on what is needed where.

Hey, Michelle :)

I'm happy to see this here. I'll help you with this. I just need to get more up to speed with the details of implementing it in a module first, so I'll let you know as soon as I can!

Thank you!

I'm setting this to postponed for now until someone has the time to get to it. If anyone can get at it feel free to set to active. :-)

Version: 6.x-1.x-dev » 7.x-2.x-dev

All new features should be coded in the D7 version.

Uh... No. I don't think you actually read the issue. This isn't anything being added to Skinr; this is a request for help for making a Skinr friendly style for Advanced Forum. There's no reason to push that off to D7, especially since AF won't have a D7 version for quite a few months. If it turns out that Jacine doesn't have time for another 6 months, well, then, it might end up being D7. But Advanced Forum for D6 is under active development so there's no need at this point to push it off to D7.

Actually, I suppose this is really a support request as far as Skinr is concerned. It can be moved to a feature request once it's answered and moved to AF's queue for implementation.
