When will this module port in Drupal 8 version OR Can I have access to commit code? I would like to port this module to Drupal 8 version.

thank you for your interest in porting this module!

I created for you the 8.x branch with some default files. You're more than welcome to prepare your patch against this branch and post it here!

During your implementation please take care about issues [2446933] and [2452397]. Those two are basically about the same thing to improve. By choosing the appropriate frontend tool should be straightforward to solve.
