@doublejosh, you are a machine! I have scheduled some time next week to review the outstanding issues, especially the ones you've provided patches for. It makes sense to start a 2.0 branch with these and a couple of other things I have but haven't incorporated into the code. I wonder if you and I should have a chat before I do this. I plan to focus my efforts on v7 so I don't see a 2.0 branch for the v6 module unless someone wants to start producing a bunch of patches for it.

Are we now at the point where we can put out an alpha, beta or stable release? It appears as though we don't have any releases in the 2.x branch yet, but that's where everything new is going. Users are opening bugs on 1.x when they should probably be running 2.x.

If folks here are too busy to put out releases and such, please add me as a co-maintainer - I'd be happy to start working on this, help with the issue queue, etc.. :)
