There is no way to set different meta tags for the same path in different languages. The support was mostly there in the code, just unfinished, so I made a simple patch to enable language support. (The patch is against 7.x-1.0 - revision 8c9b85c.)

Quite close to the solution. It just lacks 

function simplemeta_meta_load_by_path($path, $language = NULL) {
	if (!isset($language)) {
		$language = simplemeta_get_language();
	}

With $language = NULL and load language.

This allow to load the correct elements in the form located on any pages.
