I don't mean to be pushy, and I can't wait for a stable working release. I was just curious as to the timeframe of seeing a stable release. Weeks? Months?
I could really use this module to help my site make some serious cash, so I just wanted to know when I can start getting giddy.
P.S I did install your module to search for errors in drupal (non-developer here). So far I haven't seen anything (except the missing functionality - that's why they call it a dev release!). No errors show up on screen and I didn't get any bad parse errors while using the modules UI.
Keep up the great work
Thanks

kbahey commentedNo idea.
This is open source, and it is ready when its ready.
Also, this is all volunteer effort, not funded by client projects (initially it was supposed to be, but that did not happen).
If someone comes up and funds the effort, things may be done faster. Or if people contribute working and tested patches, it will also get done faster. But until then, no estimate given can be given.
Meanwhile, keep watching for tarballs of the -dev release with newer dates, and keep testing them.
File issues for things that do not work (after you check that no existing issues are already there).

bsherwood commentedHow much funding would you require to get this out faster? Maybe I can help with it (via fund raising)
giggler commentedI have a potential project that may take care of some of the feature/bug request I've submitted. I have the estimate from kbahey. But fund raising would be fun in case the project doesn't go through. I'd contribute anyway...
bsherwood commentedSo it seems this project is coming along nicely, can we tag a stable release? Maybe alpha, beta or RC?
solutionpoint commentedIs there a way to add another currency to the list of 4 default currencies. Changed in signup_pay.module to replace CAD with ZAR, it didn't work, the Paypal page says, this seller do not accept USD! Idea is TO show users currency in ZAR, but they can pay with USD on Paypal.
kbahey commentedDo not pollute an unrelated issue with off topic requests.
Open a new issue if the same issue does not exist.
WinterSky commentedHow would you want to be contacted re funding of the development of this module?
Not sure if we are talking $10's or $100's to get to stable so not sure if I can even help. Would like to have an idea though so I can pass that on to a couple of clients that will want this.
kbahey commentedDoing a stable release is a matter of 30 minutes or so.
However, it happens when the product is nearly feature complete, and enough people have used the existing dev code and are happy with it. Also, when the number of outstanding issues are relatively small or deemed minor.
Again, the onus rests on the power of the community, not just one person.
bsherwood commentedSo how are we doing on this? Would you say we are in alpha, beta or RC?
