Release notes

  • Port to Drupal 11.1+/12, targeting the current Shortcode 3.0.x plugin API (from an unmaintained Drupal 7 codebase).
  • - Fix HTML entity double-encoding of pasted addresses/URLs (broke both the displayed address and the embedded map).
  • Fix corruption when a WYSIWYG editor auto-linkifies the shortcode's enclosed text before the shortcode filter runs.
  • Support pasting a Google Maps URL directly: extracts lat,lng, place name, and zoom automatically; never sends the raw URL to the map embed.
  • Add an accessible title attribute to the embedded iframe.
  • Fix a stray-whitespace rendering issue under filter_autop.
  • Document the required "Convert URLs into links" filter order.
