Should have noticed it form the start : you need Views-3.x.

i think the issue come from the jquery version , but 1.7 seem to break some important stuff on drupal admin...so how can i do that whithout trouble ?

Countzero’s picture

No it doesn't : you really need Views-3.X, as stated in my previous post.

D6 code hasn't been updated since long ago, and probably won't be anymore.

Any Javascript error on the sort display page ?

yes these are errors :

You have a problem with your JQuery UI installation. I don't think it has anything to do with Sgrid.

Please fix it and come back here if it still doesn't work.

yess , jquery ui issue...strange but fixed by adding these lines in template.php

//le bon chemin pour utiliser jqueryUI 1.7.3
drupal_add_js('sites/all/libraries/jquery.ui/js/jquery-ui-1.7.3.custom.min.js');
drupal_add_js('sites/all/libraries/jquery.ui/ui/ui.core.js');
drupal_add_css('sites/all/libraries/jquery.ui/themes/base/ui.all.css');

?>

will see if it be needed on prod website

Glad you solved your issue.

When adding js and css files via drupal functions, its always a good idea to work with absolute paths in the form :

drupal_add_js(drupal_get_path('module or theme', 'module or theme name') . '/subpath/yourfile.js');

... for example. This way you ensure your path is always valid.

Have a nice day.

aiphes’s picture

here, which can be the good code ?

drupal_add_js(drupal_get_path('module', 'libraries') . 'jquery.ui/js/jquery-ui-1.7.3.custom.min.js');

Unless JQuery UI is installed under the 'libraries' module folder, this won't work.

AFAIK, there's not way to specify the libraries path (sites/all/libraries) in a dynamic way in D6.

So your best bet would probably be jquery_ui_get_path() :

drupal_add_js(jquery_ui_get_path() . '/subpath_if_applicable/yourfile.js');

There may be special functions in the module to add specific JQuery UI components. Please refer to the doc.

BTW, this is getting really off topic.
