I upgraded from beta3 to 4 and noticed the checkboxes had changed afterwards. So I when to appearance / seventeen to unchecked the " Style checkboxes". The the option it did not covert back to the original checkboxes. I then uninstalled and went back to beta3 but that did not convert to the original checkboxes as well.

I was trying to reproduce this. Try to disable the theme, and replace all files in seventeen directory using the last release.
