Hi,
I have a problem with searching the PDF file by drupal search and google search. I have searched the term "broadband properties" (with quote and without quote) on drupal and google (site:itif.org "broadband properties"), the drupal give no result when I searched with quote but give result when I searched without quote. The result that I get on the site was not Identical to that of google. The PDF files that was in google result was not in the drupal search result.
I am unable to understand what would be the problem. If anyone then please suggest, Thanks in adv. (site is www.itif.org)

Stupidscript commented1) Perhaps your Drupal Search Files configuration does not correctly define the directory containing your PDF files? Or is not set to search in Attachments?
2) Perhaps your permissions need to be adjusted?
3) Perhaps your Drupal Search Files index has not been updated to include your PDF files?
4) Perhaps Googlebot indexes your site more often than your Drupal cronjob does?
5) Perhaps your PDF files are "too old" for your Search Files settings? Try setting the "Directory Rescan Age" to something really short ... like 30 (seconds), and re-index. My own site is set to use 3600 (seconds = 1 hour).
There are several reasons why Google might have indexed content, but Drupal may not. Usually it has to do with the way your Drupal search is configured.
