Search Api Solr Date Sort allows for content with date fields to be indexed and sorted by said date field. The current issue with date sort is that if the filed has multiple dates, solr is unable to sort based on the that field because it isn't sure which date to pick. This module resolves that by adding the content to the index multiple times, 1 for each date, and adding the date string as a sortable field.

- Allows date sorting by duplicating entries in the solr index and providing them in the query results.
Warning;
This could make your index significantly larger.
Future
There are plans to support the handling of the dates by using the first date string instead of all date values, that just hasn't been implemented. Submit a patch if required.
